Queen's Jubilee Celebrations in 2012

On Tuesday 5th June 2012 our country will celebrate the Queen's Diamond Jubilee when Queen Elizabeth achieves 60 years as our monarch. This day has been declared a national holiday and Monday 4th June will be Spring bank holiday on this year. This will create a four day weekend starting on Saturday 2nd June 2012.
Plenty of scope for a little party...
 
There have been a few suggestions recently, about what the village should be doing for the Queen's Jubilee celebrations. This has been mentioned at a number of village groups recently.

It would help to get some ideas from you to what you would like, as nothing has been decided yet. It is hoped that a few groups will work together to make any event a very successful and memorable one for everyone involved.
